Overview
The 2001 Mustang Cobra is available as a Coupe or Convertible. Its 4.6L V-8 engine produces 320 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 317 lb-ft of torque at 4750 rpm. New for 2001, the Mach 460 AM/FM stereo now includes a six-disc in-dash CD player. In addition, Ford upgraded the center console by adding a larger rear cupholder and repositioning the front cupholder, power outlet, tissue holder, and parking brake boot. The Cobra's standard features include air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, limited slip axle, cloth/leather bucket seats with six-way power driver seat, and dual stainless steel exhaust. 17-inch polished aluminum wheels and a rear spoiler are optional. True Blue, Silver, and Oxford White are new exterior colors for 2001.
