Overview

For the 2001 model year, the Yukon XL returns with few changes. New improvements include a modular three-piece frame for greater structural integrity, crash worthiness and serviceability. Other new changes include the addition of interior color Neutral Tan, and exterior colors Polo Green Metallic and Garnet Red Metallic. For additional safety, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes are standard. Other standard items include front fog lights, carpeted floor mats, power front driver and passenger seats, and a Trailering Equipment Package. Optional equipment includes automatic climate control, an electric sliding sunroof, and side-step running boards. Yukon XL 2500 models are capable of towing up to 12,000 pounds when properly equipped.
