Overview

In addition to the GXE, SE, and GLE models, the Maxima is now available in the SE 20th Anniversary Edition. This new model includes such standard features as 17-inch alloy wheels, brushed metal pedals and shift knob, front and rear spoilers, and a high performance muffler that provides an additional five horsepower. All models come with dual air bags, active head restraints, child seat anchors, and front and rear crumple zones as standard safety features. Several upgrade packages are available providing features such as leather seat trim, traction control, a power sunroof, and premium audio systems. A four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission is standard on the GLE, but remains an extra cost option on the other models.
