Overview

The Outback is available in six models: Sport, Wagon, Limited Sedan, Limited Wagon, H6-3.0 L.L.Bean, and H6-3.0 VDC. The all-new Outback H6-3.0 L.L.Bean Edition and the Outback H6-3.0 VDC are powered by a new 212-hp, DOHC 24-valve six-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features for the L.L.Bean and VDC include specially designed alloy wheels, a mahogany wood and leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, and an eight-way power driver seat. Safety features include a dual stage deployment supplemental restraint system, daytime running lights, a collapsible steering column, and all-wheel drive. All Outback models now receive larger front ventilated disc brakes and child safety seat anchors.
