Overview

For the 2001 model year, the Impreza is available in five models: L Coupe, Sedan, and Wagon, as well as RS Coupe and Sedan. All models continue with very few changes from last year+s models. Standard features include an AM/FM stereo with cassette, air conditioning, and power windows, mirrors and door locks. The RS models include sport-tuned suspension, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a 165-hp 2.5L engine, limited slip differential, and a power sunroof. All Impreza L models are available with the optional Popular Equipment Package, which adds splash guards, carpeted floor mats, a custom tail pipe cover, and on the wagon, a roof rack. Fog lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, a gauge pack, and a CD player are also available as options.
