Overview
The Ram Cargo Van returns for this year virtually unchanged. It is again available in four trim lines: 1500 Short Wheel Base (SWB), 1500 Extended, 2500 Extended, and 3500 Extended. New features for 2001 include a passenger assist handle, seatbelt pre-tensioners and an optional enhanced tilt steering wheel equipped with three new settings. A new optional Convenience Group adds a tilt steering wheel and cruise control. The Trailer Tow Prep Group equips the cargo van with a heavy-duty radiator and battery, a trailer wiring harness and a transmission oil cooler. Also available on all models is the Power Convenience Group, which includes keyless illuminated entry and power windows and door locks.
