Overview
The 2001 Lincoln Town Car offers a comprehensive list of standard features, including power adjustable brake and acceleration pedals, traction control, front and side air bags, and a remote keyless entry system. An anti-lock brake system, power windows, power door locks with anti-lockout, and an 8-way power driver seat are also standard. Optional features available are a power moonroof, a portable cellular telephone, and a CD changer. Horsepower for the 4.6 liter V8 has been increased this year to 225 for the Executive and Signature models, while the Cartier powertrain is rated at 240-hp. Lincoln now offers complimentary maintenance on all Town Cars at no additional charge for the first 3 years/36,000 miles.
