Overview

The 2001 Continental now includes complimentary maintenance for the first three years or 36,000 miles in service. The universal garage door opener is now offered as a standard feature. Two new colors, Aqua Blue and Pearl Blue, are introduced for this model year. The five-passenger seating includes the Driver Select System. The individual leather bucket seating is available as a no cost option, but requires the Driver Select System and Alpine Audio System. The keyless remote entry system includes Smart Locks that prevents doors from locking when the car is off and the key is in the ignition. The rear suspension is equipped with an automatic load leveling air suspension. Safety standard features include driver and passenger front side airbags.
