Overview

The Dodge Ram 3500 pickup remains almost unchanged from the previous model year. The only significant change is a new optional engine. Dodge now offers a HO Cummins 5.9L Turbo Diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Ram 3500 is available in Regular Cab or Quad Cab, and in either 2WD or 4WD. Three different trim levels are available: Base, SLT, and SLT Plus (on Quad Cab models only). Upgraded features of the SLT include air conditioning, carpeting, cruise control, and power locks and windows. Additional SLT Plus features include heated leather seats, a keyless remote entry system, and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player. Limited slip differential, security alarm, and fog lights are a few of the optional features.
