Overview
The GMC Yukon XL Denali 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 10/01/2009. The 2010 GMC Yukon continues in either short or long wheel base (XL) in either half ton (1500) or three quarter ton (2500) bodystyles. Trims include SLE, SLT, Denali and Hybrid versions, with Hybrid and Denali offered only on the 1500's. Yukon XFE offers the best fuel economy in the line-up. Updates for the model year include two new colors: Dark Labyrinth and Sheer Silver Metallic, as well as some enhancements to the audio system. All 4WD models feature a single speed transfer case, but a two-speed transfer case is available as an option. The 6.2L engine on the top-of-the-line Denali now features the same active fuel management system as the smaller 5.3L engine. Denali also sees a 3.08 axle as standard in order to gain additional fuel efficiency. The GMC Yukon XL Denali 2WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
