Overview
The Toyota Avalon XL last had a manufacturer update on 08/01/2009. The 2010 Toyota Avalon continues in three trims: XL, XLS, and Limited. All trims are powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that generates 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The 3.5L V6 engine is mated to a fuel efficient six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless remote control entry system, and cruise/speed control. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock braking system, automatic headlight control, head curtain and side impact air bags, and tire pressure monitoring system. A vehicle navigation system is optional on the XLS and Limited trims, and adaptive speed control is offered on the Limited models only. The Toyota Avalon XL was last redesigned in 2005 and the next major change is expected in 2012.
