Overview
The GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab SLE 4WD Standard Bed last had a manufacturer update on 10/01/2009. For 2010, the GMC Sierra line is carried over from the previous model year with minor changes. The Sierra continues to be offered in Base Work Truck, XFE, SLE and SLT trims (a top-of-the-line Denali trim is also available). Updates for this year include a 3.08 axle ratio and fuel saver mode standard with vehicles equipped with the 5.3L V8. The 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.2L engines are now FlexFuel capable with standard variable valve timing on all but the 6.2L. Side curtain airbags and seat mounted side airbags, as well as StabiliTrak is standard on all half-ton models. Other minor updates include freshened interior door trim and two new exterior colors: Storm Gray and Sheer Silver Metallic. The rearview camera is now offered as optional equipment in more models in the Sierra line-up. The GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab SLE 4WD Standard Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
