Overview
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab LT 2WD Standard Bed last had a manufacturer update on 09/02/2009. For 2010, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is offered in regular, extended and crew cab bodystyles in either Base (Work Truck), LT or LTZ trims. The hybrid and XFE versions are available in crew cab only, and extended cab models come only with the standard or long bed. Updates for this year include a standard 3.08 axle ratio and fuel saver model on models equipped with the 5.3 V8 engine. The 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.2L engines are all now E85 compatible with variable timing standard on with the 4.8L and 5.3L engines. For added safety, side curtain and seat mounted side impact airbags are standard on all 1500 models, as well as StabiliTrak electronic stability control. Two new exterior color choices are offered this year: Taupe Gray and Sheer Silver Metallic. The Silverado is a sister car to the GMC Sierra. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab LT 2WD Standard Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
