Overview
The GMC Canyon Regular Cab Work Truck 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 09/07/2009. For 2010, the GMC Canyon is offered in regular, extended, and crew cab bodystyes, with a choice of Base (Work Truck), SLE or SLT trims (SLT not available on regular cab vehicles). The Canyon sees only minor equipment changes this year including standard head curtain side airbags and updated package and equipment groups. A ZQ8 Sport Suspension Package is offered on 2WD extended and crew cab vehicles with SLE-1, or SLT trims. Three new color choices are available: Merlot Jewel, Gray Green, and Pure Silver Metallic. The GMC Canyon is a sister vehicle to the Chevrolet Colorado. The GMC Canyon Regular Cab Work Truck 4WD was introduced in 2004 and is scheduled to be retired in 2011.
