Overview

The Volvo XC90 R-Design FWD last had a manufacturer update on 06/05/2009. The 2010 Volvo XC90 is available in three trims: 3.2, R-Design, and V8 AWD. The 3.2 models are powered by a 235 horsepower 3.2L inline six-cylinder engine while the V8 models are equipped with a 4.4L V8 engine that generates 311 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission with Geartronic. The R-Design trim upgrades the base 3.2 with larger wheels and tires, R-Design tuned suspension and steering, R-Design grille, leather seating surfaces with embossed R-Design logo on the front seats, R-Design steering wheel, R-Design watch dial instruments and floor mats. The Volvo XC90 R-Design FWD was introduced in 2003; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
