Overview
The Cadillac STS V8 last had a manufacturer update on 10/12/2009. For 2101 the Cadillac STS continues with changes only to the exterior color availability. It is available in two models--V6, V8 (the high-performance "V" trim has been discontinued). The standard engine is the 302 hp 3.6L direct injection V6. Both the V6 and V8 versions come with rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. The STS features a number of optional Luxury or Performance Packages to enhance the driving experience. Optional equipment on the STS-V includes high performance brakes, magnetic ride control suspension and premium steering gears. Vanilla Latte and Tuscan BronzeChromaFlair are new exterior color choices for the 2010 model year. The Cadillac STS V8 was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2012.
