Overview
The Subaru Forester 2.5X last had a manufacturer update on 06/22/2009. The 2010 Subaru Forester is available in several trims: 2.5X, 2.5X Premium, 2.5X Limited, 2.5XT Premium, and 2.5XT Limited. The 2.5X models are powered by a 170-hp 2.5L engine, while the 2.5XT models receive a 2.5L turbocharged engine producing 224 horsepower and 226 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Standard equipment across the board includes four-wheel ABS brakes, a stereo system with CD player, and the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. The higher trims add sport-designed seats, a front-lip spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels, Sirius satellite radio capability, and a premium stereo system with a six-disc changer and subwoofer. Options include interior and exterior trim enhancements, a rear spoiler, and a storage bin. The Subaru Forester 2.5X was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
