Overview

The Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid last had a manufacturer update on 08/31/2009. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-class is available in several trims: S400 Hybrid, S550 (2WD and 4MATIC), S600, S63AMG, and S65 AMG. S550 trims are equipped with a 382-hp 5.5L V8, while the S600 boasts a 5.5L V12 twin turbo producing 510 horsepower and 612 ft-lbs of torque. AMG models boost the horsepower even higher with 518 and 604 versions. All models are equipped with several technological amenities, including a hands-free communication system, a driver's information system, the COMAND system, a voice control system, and a hard drive-based GPS navigation system. Safety features include a tire pressure monitor, heated rain-sensing windshield wipers, trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front and side impact airbags. The Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
