Overview
The Chevrolet Malibu LS last had a manufacturer update on 10/12/2009. The 2010 Chevrolet Malibu is carried over from last year with few changes. Offered in LS, LT, LTZ and Hybrid trims, the gasoline-only powered models feature a standard 2.4L engine which is now E85 capable. The 3.0L V6 is optional on the LT and LTZ trims, and a six-speed automatic is now standard. Other updates include new available exterior colors include White Diamond Tricoat, Mocha Steel Metallic and Taupe Gray Metallic. Wheels on 2LT four-cylinder models are not 17-inch Chrome Tech aluminum, and driver power lumbar is now standard across the model-line (replacing manual lumbar support). Dark Gray, Golden Pewter and Silver Moss Metallic exterior colors have been discontinued. It is anticipated that the Hybrid will be discontinued after 2010. The Chevrolet Malibu LS was last redesigned in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
