Overview
The Kia Forte SX (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 09/03/2009. The new 2010 Kia Forte is available in both sedan and Koup bodystyles in LX, EX, and SX trim levels. The LX and EX models are powered by a 2.0L DOHC four-cylinder engine, producing 156 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque. The SX features an upgraded 2.4L inline four-cylinder engine which delivers 173 horsepower. The 2.0L engine is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. The 2.4L engine features a standard six-speed manual transmission and an optional five-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic. Standard features on all models include auto-off headlights, a rear window defroster, and an AM/FM stereo with CD and six speakers. Standard safety features include six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Kia Forte SX (Manual) was introduced in 2010; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
