Overview
The Ford Edge Sport AWD last had a manufacturer update on 08/01/2009. The 2010 Ford Edge is available in four trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport in either 2WD or AWD configurations. All models are powered by a 265 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Sport trim includes 20-inch wheels (22-inch wheels are a no cost option) and an eight-piece body kit for a more aggressive look and feel. The Edge is equipped with such technology features as SYNC (a Microsoft powered interactive communications software system), and available voice-activated navigation system with SIRIUS™ Travel Link. The system gives drivers and passenger's access to up-to-the-minute information and entertainment including coast-to-coast coverage of real-time traffic and weather reports. The Edge is a sister car to the Lincoln MKX. The Ford Edge Sport AWD was introduced in 2007, and minor changes are expected in 2011.
