Overview
The GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 07/13/2009. After being completely redesigned in 2007, the GMC Yukon returns for 2009 available in several trims: SLE, SLT, Denali, and Hybrid in 2WD or 4WD configurations (a Denali Hybrid will be added later in the year, available with either 2WD or 4WD). Gas engines choices include a 4.8L V8, a Vortec 5.3L V8 with Active Fuel Management, which produces 320 horsepower, and a 6.0L V8 with VVT and Active Fuel Management. The Active Fuel Management system switches between eight and four cylinders in order to conserve fuel. The Yukon Denali (non-Hybrid) is powered by a 380 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Head curtain airbags are now standard on all models. The Denali Hybrid rides on 22-inch chrome wheels and features power heated/cooled leather seats, among other luxury appointments. The GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid 4WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
