Overview
The Lincoln MKS AWD last had a manufacturer update on 10/01/2009. The 2010 Lincoln MKS is carried over from last year with minor changes. Available in three trims--FWD, AWD and a new EcoBoost AWD (late availability), the MKS continues as the flagship sedan in Lincoln's line-up. The all new EcoBoost V6 is the first direct injection twin-turbo charged engine produced in North America. It produces 355hp and gives the MKS the same power as a 4.6L V8. Prelim testing of the powertrain produced a fuel economy of 16/25 city/highway. Ford estimates that by 2013 more than 90 percent of their U.S. available vehicles will be offered with "EcoBoost" technology. Standard features on this trim include 19-inch wheels, six-speed SelectShift automatic, enhanced technology features, and rear power sunshade. The Lincoln MKS AWD was introduced in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
