Overview
The Ford Taurus Limited last had a manufacturer update on 10/01/2009. The redesigned 2010 Taurus is available in six models: SE, SEL, SEL AWD, Limited, Limited AWD and SHO. All but the SHO are powered by a 263 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine, paired with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The SHO receives a Super High Output (SHO) EcoBoost twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine that produces 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Standard features include all power conveniences, driver's information center, keyless remote entry, and the Ford Sync communication system. Safety features include trunk entrapment release, tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. New technology options include adaptive cruise control, blind spot information system, intelligent access with push button start, and cross traffic alert. The Ford Taurus Limited was last redesigned in 2010; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
