Overview
The Toyota Matrix XRS (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 04/13/2009. Redesigned in 2009, the 2010 Toyota Matrix is carried over with few changes, and is available in three trims: base, S and XRS. Base models are powered by a 132 horsepower 1.8L engine. The S and XRS receive a new 2.4L four cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Standard features across the model line include power color-keyed mirrors, daytime running lights, side and head curtain air bags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The S trim adds cruise control, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD with MP3 capability and six speakers, front and rear underbody spoilers and fog lamps. The performance oriented XRS adds 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and sport strut tower brace. Stability control and traction control are standard on all Matrix models. The Toyota Matrix XRS (Manual) was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
