Overview

The Toyota Matrix XRS (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 04/13/2009. Redesigned in 2009, the 2010 Toyota Matrix is carried over with few changes, and is available in three trims: base, S and XRS. Base models are powered by a 132 horsepower 1.8L engine. The S and XRS receive a new 2.4L four cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Standard features across the model line include power color-keyed mirrors, daytime running lights, side and head curtain air bags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The S trim adds cruise control, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD with MP3 capability and six speakers, front and rear underbody spoilers and fog lamps. The performance oriented XRS adds 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and sport strut tower brace. Stability control and traction control are standard on all Matrix models.
