Overview
The Ford Mustang last had a manufacturer update on 07/20/2009. All-new for 2010, the Ford Mustang returns with a restyled look and significant performance improvements. The Mustang is available in five trims: Base, Premium, GT, Premium GT, and Shelby GT500. Both a V6 and V8 are available depending on trim, and roof choices include hardtop soft top, or a new glass roof option. The design of the new mustang is a modern interpretation of the late 60's and early 70's muscle car. Performance and handling modifications include larger wheels, retuned suspension and increased horsepower. The Mustang features a more refined interior with upgraded materials and craftsmanship over previous generations. Ford's new Easy Fuel capless fuel system is standard; the V8 runs on regular unleaded, but filling consistently with premium fuel will improve mid-range torque. The Ford Mustang saw minor changes in 2010; no information is currently available on upcoming changes..
