Overview
The Ford Fusion SE last had a manufacturer update on 10/01/2009. The 2010 Ford Fusion is available in eight trims: S, SE, SE V6, SEL, SEL V6, Sport, Sport V6, and Hybrid. On V6 equipped models, a front-wheel or all-wheel drive configuration may be selected. The Fusion is powered by either a 2.5L Duratec 175 horsepower engine, a 3.0L Duratec 30 Flex-Fuel 240 horsepower V6 engine, a 3.5L Duratec 263 horsepower V6 engine, or a 2.5L Duratec engine mated to a permanent magnet AC synchronous electric motor. The engines are coupled with a six-speed manual, a six-speed auto, or an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (Hybrid models only). Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and side-impact airbags. The Ford Fusion SE saw minor changes in 2010, and is expected to be redesigned in 2013.
