Overview

The Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD last had a manufacturer update on 10/16/2009. The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox has been redesigned for the new model year and is available in six trims--LS, LT and LTZ in either front or all-wheel drive configurations. Updates for the new model includes revised powertrains consisting of a 2.4L Ecotec direct injection engine, as well as a new 3.0L DOHC V6 which produces 264hp. The smaller Ecotec engine is estimated to achieve 21/30 MPG for the city/highway rating. Other changes consist of six standard airbags, standard four-wheel disc brakes with electronic stability control and traction control. A new remote start system is available which activates the HVAC and heated seats during warm up or cool down, depending on the outside temperature at start. The Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD was last redesigned in 2010; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
