Overview
The Pontiac Solstice last had a manufacturer update on 04/20/2009. The 2009 Pontiac Solstice is available in three trims: base and GXP coupe or convertible, and Street Edition Convertible. Changes for 2009 include anti-lock brakes, limited-slip differential and StabiliTrak electronic stability control system are now standard on all models, Bluetooth capability is integrated with the OnStar system, and the standard 18-inch wheels are updated. The base Solstice is powered by a 2.4L 173 horsepower engine, whereas the GXP boasts a 2.0L 260 horsepower turbocharged engine. Standard amenities include auto headlights, driver's information center, and an AM/FM/CD stereo system with MP3 capabilities. Two new exterior colors have been added: a new hue is used for Deep Blue and Merlot Jewel will be added later in the model year. The Pontiac Solstice was introduced in 2009 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
