Overview

The Dodge Dakota Extended Cab TRX 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/02/2009. After being redesigned last year, the Dodge Dakota returns for 2009 available in two cab styles and initially in three trim levels: Extended Cab and Crew Cab and ST, Big Horn, Laramie trims in 2WD or 4WD configurations. All models except the Laramie are powered by a 210 horsepower 3.7L V6 engine mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. A 4.7L V8 engine generating 302 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque is standard on the Laramie. The 4.7L V8 engine gets mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
