Overview

The Saab 9-5 Griffin last had a manufacturer update on 12/22/2008. The 2009 Saab 9-5 is available in three models: Base, Aero, and Griffin, all in sedan and wagon bodystyles. The 9-5 is powered by a 2.3L 260-horsepower turbocharged engine, mated to a five speed automatic transmission. Standard features include heated seats, keyless remote entry, climate controlled glove box, OnStar communication system, moon roof, and memory for outside mirrors and drivers seat. Standard safety features include front and rear fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and front and side impact air bags. A Visibility Package is available on both models and includes HID headlights with automatic leveling, heated mirrors, and rear parking assist. The Saab 9-5 Griffin saw minor changes in 2007, and is expected to be redesigned in 2011.
