Overview

The Porsche Boxster S last had a manufacturer update on 02/03/2009. The 2009 Porsche Boxster is available in two trims: base and S. The base model is equipped with a 2.9L 255 horsepower V6 engine; while the S receives an upgraded 3.4L V6 engine that now produces 310 horsepower. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Standard interior amenities on both models include all power conveniences, aluminum look interior trim, on-board computer, and AM/FM stereo with CD. Standard exterior amenities include heated mirrors, glass rear window, automatic power soft top roof, and an automatic retractable rear spoiler. Optional features include heated seats, wind deflector, rear parking sensors, and a removable hard top roof. The Porsche Boxster S was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
