Overview

The Ford F150 Super Cab Flareside XLT 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/01/2009. The all new Ford F150 is available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: 2WD or 4WD configurations, Regular Cab, Super Cab, and SuperCrew Cab bodystyles, short, standard or long bed lengths, and five trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, FX4 (4WD models), Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Engine choices include a 248 hp two-valve 4.6L V8, a 292 hp three-valve 4.6L V8, and a 5.4L Triton V8 that generates 310 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. The two-valve 4.6L V8 is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission while the three-valve 4.6L V8 and 5.4L Triton V8 are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The new Platinum model is equipped with satin chrome grille, leather captain's chairs with tuxedo stitching and embroidered logos on the seatbacks, satin gloss Lacrosse Ash wood grain trim, real brushed aluminum panels, and 20-inch 16-spoke polished aluminum wheels. The Ford F150 Super Cab Flareside XLT 2WD was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
