Overview

The Kia Rio5 SX (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 08/15/2008. The Kia Rio and Rio5 return for 2009 available in base, LX, and SX sedans, while the Rio5 is available in LX and SX hatchbacks. Both the Rio and Rio5 come powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder 110-hp engine paired to either a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include a trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. A convenience Power Package is available, offering all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, heated mirrors, anti-lock brakes, and alloy wheels. The Kia Rio5 SX (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
