Overview
The GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab SLE 2WD Long Bed last had a manufacturer update on 06/08/2009. The 2009 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: Regular Cab, Extended Cab, or Crew Cab bodystyles, short or long bed lengths, three trims levels: Work Truck, SLE, and SLT, and 2WD or 4WD drivetrain configurations. Choices of engines include a 360 hp Gen IV Vortec 6.0L V8 and a Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 that generates 365 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. All engine choices are mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission. Updates for 2009 include vehicle stability enhancement system now standard on the 2500's with single rear wheels, OnStar 8.0 with turn-by-turn navigation and destination download, Bluetooth connectivity with the OnStar system for hands-free calling, XM Satellite Radio with new NavTraffic feature, and a new optional rearview camera system (extended cab and crew cab models). The GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab SLE 2WD Long Bed was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
