Overview
The Jeep Commander Overland 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/22/2009. The 2009 Jeep Commander is available in three trims: Sport, Limited, and Overland; in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. There are three engines to chose from, the 210 horsepower 3.7L V6 engine on Sport models, 305 horsepower 4.7L V8 engine on the Limited models (optional on Sport), and a new 357 horsepower 5.7L HEMI V8 engine on the Overland models (optional on the Limited). In addition to the new engine, the Commander also features new amenities including available auto-leveling High-intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, dual-zone automatic temperature controls, rain-sensing wipers, new interior appearance upgrades, an iPod interface on navigation radios, a new 9-inch rear DVD screen and new wheel options. The Jeep Commander Overland 4WD was introduced in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
