Overview

The Nissan Frontier King Cab LE 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 06/19/2009. The 2009 Nissan Frontier gets updated with a new front fascia grille and headlight design and new 16-inch and 18-inch wheels. It is available in two body styles: King Cab or Crew Cab, in both 2WD and 4WD driveline configurations; and in several trims: XE, SE, SE V6, LE, and new PRO-4X. All models come powered with either a 152 horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder engine or a 4.0L V6 engine that produces 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. Safety features include tire pressure monitor and a dual front airbag restraint system. The new PRO-4X models bring off-road performance capabilities to the frontier by way of upgrades such as Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, additional skid plates, an electronic rear differential locker, two- or four-wheel limited-slip and large BFGoodrich P265/75R16 Rugged Trail tires. The Nissan Frontier King Cab LE 4WD was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
