Overview

The Jeep Liberty Limited 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/01/2009. After receiving a significant update last year, the Liberty enters 2009 again available in two trims: Sport and Limited in either 2WD or 4WD. The Liberty is powered by a 3.7L SOHC V6 engine that generates 210 horsepower 235 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine mated to either a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic transmission. The Liberty features Sky Slider full-length, open canvas roof. Standard features on the Liberty include side-curtain air bags, Electronic Stability Program, Electronic Roll Mitigation, traction control, brake assist, advanced anti-lock brakes and tire pressure monitoring. Available options include rain-sensing wipers and ParkSense rear park assist system. The Jeep Liberty Limited 2WD was last redesigned in 2008 and the next major change is expected in 2013.
