Overview
The Chevrolet HHR SS Panel last had a manufacturer update on 05/18/2009. The Chevy HHR returns for 2009 available in six trim lines, LS, LT, and SS models, each with or without panels. The standard engine on all HHR models is a 2.2L four-cylinder engine that produces 149 and 152 lb-ft of torque. The optional 2.4L four-cylinder engine on the LT models increases horsepower and torque to 175 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to either the standard five-speed manual transmission or the optional four-speed automatic transmission. Optional features include roof rail, color-keyed running boards, Enhanced Safety Package, and Enhanced Sound Package. The Enhanced Safety Package contains an anti-lock braking system and front and rear head curtain air bags. The Chevrolet HHR SS Panel was introduced in 2006 and is scheduled to be retired in 2011.
