Overview
The Chevrolet Traverse LTZ AWD last had a manufacturer update on 11/07/2008. Chevrolet introduces the new Traverse to the crossover market for 2009. The Traverse is available in six models: LS, LT, and LTZ, each in either a FWD or AWD configuration. All models are powered by a 281 horsepower 3.6L V6 engine matted to a six-speed automatic transmission with shift control. Luxury amenities on the higher trims include 17-inch machined aluminum wheels, a Bose sound system, heated perforated leather seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a DVD-based Navigation system. Available options on the Traverse include a rear entertainment system, dual power moonroofs, chrome exterior enhancements, and a second row console. The fourth large crossover built on GM's Lamda platform, the Traverse is sibling to the GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook and Buick Enclave. The Chevrolet Traverse LTZ AWD was introduced in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
