Overview
The Saturn Astra XR last had a manufacturer update on 12/22/2008. <<Though initially supposed to be available for the 2009 model year, Saturn discontinued the Astra after 2008.>>Carried over from last year, the 2009 Saturn Astra is available as a two or four-door wagon. Four door trims include both XE and XR trims. All Astra models come with a 1.8L DOHC engine with either a manual or optional automatic transmission. Changes for this year include new available tan cloth seats, advanced audio package (on XE), updated 16-inch wheel cover design on XE, and minor changes to the computer/clock display. Polar White is replacing last year's Olympic White and Quicksilver replaces Star Silver (interim model year change). An oil pan heater is available on all models for 2009.
