Overview
The Pontiac Solstice last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The 2009 Pontiac Solstice is available in two trims: base and GXP. A coupe version equipped with a removable roof will be available later in the year. Changes for 2009 include anti-lock brakes and StabiliTrak electronic stability control system are now standard on all models, limited-slip differential is also standard on all models, and the standard 18-inch wheels are updated. The base Solstice is powered by a 2.4L 177-horsepower engine, while the GXP receives a 2.0L 260-horsepower turbocharged engine. Standard amenities include auto headlights, drivers information center, and a AM/FM/CD stereo system with MP3 capablilties.
