Overview
The Nissan Altima 2.5 last had a manufacturer update on 04/03/2009. For 2009 The Altima is available as a coupe, sedan or hybrid sedan. Trims include S and SE coupe or sedan, and SL and 2.5 sedans. The automatic is a Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT); a 6-speed manual is also offered. Both the sedan and coupe were recently redesigned (in 2007 and 2008, respectively), and are carried over for 2009 with few changes. The coupe makes available 18-inch alloy wheels for this year, as well as, standard automatic door locks and high gloss front grille treatment. The most notable visual difference distinguishing the coupe from the sedan body is the coupe's aggressive exterior design, which rides on a shorter wheelbase with a lower profile. With the exception of the hood, all other exterior parts are unique to each style. The Nissan Altima 2.5 was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
