Overview
The Ford Taurus X SEL last had a manufacturer update on 12/01/2008. The 2009 Ford Taurus X is available in six trims: SEL, Eddie Bauer, and Limited in either FWD or AWD configurations. All models are powered by a 260 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, three rows of seating, and the Ford Sync communication system. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. Options on the Taurus X include a DVD-base voice-activated navigation system, a Sirius radio, a rear entertainment system, a power liftgate release, and rear parking sensors. The Ford Taurus X SEL was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
