Overview

The Ford Taurus Limited AWD last had a manufacturer update on 12/23/2008. The 2009 Taurus is available in six trims: SE, SEL and Limited, in either FWD or AWD configurations. All models are powered by a 260 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include all power conveniences, driver's information center, keyless remote entry, and the Ford Sync communication system. Safety features include trunk entrapment release, tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. Options on the Taurus X include a DVD-base voice-activated navigation system, a Sirius radio, a rear entertainment system, and rear parking sensors. The Ford Taurus Limited AWD was introduced in 2005, and minor changes are expected in 2010.
