Overview
The Volkswagen Jetta SEL (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 03/24/2009. The 2009 Volkswagen Jetta is available in two bodystyles and five trims: sedan and wagon bodystyle in S, SE, SEL, TDI, and TDI Loyal Edition (a Wolfsburg Edition is available in sedan only). The S and SE (and SEL sedan) models feature a 170 horsepower 2.5L in-line five-cylinder engine while the SEL SportWagen receives a 200 horsepower turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine. The TDI models are equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine that produces 140 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The S features 16-inch steel wheels (wheel covers are also standard). Safety features on the Jetta include side impact and head curtain airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, and front and rear anti-lock brakes. Standard features on all models include power amenities, keyless remote entry system, cruise/speed control, and electronic stability control. The Volkswagen Jetta SEL (Manual) was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
