Overview

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR last had a manufacturer update on 06/02/2008. The all-new 2008 Lancer is available in several models: DE, ES, GTS, and Evolution GSR and MR. The new Lancer was designed based on the Mitsubishi Concept-X show car. It is built on a new performance-engineered global platform that is also the foundation of the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander and the next-generation Lancer Evolution. The standard engine on all models, excluding the Evolution GSR, is a new 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 152 hp and 146 lb-ft. of torque. All Lancer models come with a standard 5-speed manual transmission with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as an option. Safety features include advanced dual front air bag with occupant sensors, front seat-mounted side-impact air bags and side curtain air bags, driver's knee air bag, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR was last redesigned in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
