Overview

The Mitsubishi Outlander SE 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 07/01/2009. Completely redesigned two years ago, the Mitsubishi Outlander enters 2009 available in three trims: ES, LS, SE and XLS in either 2WD or AWD configurations. The base Outlander is powered by a fuel-efficient 2.4L 168 horsepower aluminum DOHC MIVEC four-cylinder engine teamed with a Sportronic CVT transmission. The LS and XLS are powered by a 220 horsepower 3.0L aluminum MIVEC V6 engine mated to a six-speed Sportronic automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, curtain side air bags, and Active Skid and Traction Control (ASTC). Several option groups are available. The Mitsubishi Outlander SE 4WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
