Overview
The Jaguar XJ Super V8 last had a manufacturer update on 06/13/2008. The 2009 Jaguar XJ is available in six trims: XJ8, XJ8L, Vanden Plas, XJR, Super V8, and Super V8 Portfolio. The XJ8, XJ8 L, and Vanden Plas feature a 4.2L 300-hp V8 engine where as the XJR and Super V8's are powered by a supercharged version of the 4.2L V8 engine producing 400-hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities include keyless remote entry, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, moonroof, heated mirrors, heated seats, and memory settings for outside mirrors, pedals and seats. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, and rear parking sensors. The Jaguar XJ Super V8 was last redesigned in 2004 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
