Overview
The Volkswagen Rabbit (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 03/24/2009. The 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit is available in two bodystyles: two or four door hatchback with either manual (two door models) or automatic transmission. The Rabbit features a 2.5L in-line five-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. All models feature power amenities, keyless remote entry system, cruise/speed control, and electronic stability control. Safety features on the Rabbit include side impact and head curtain airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, and front and rear anti-lock brakes. A number of options are available to upgrade equipment including a Ground Effects Kit, alloy wheels, Sport Styling Kit, and rear spoiler. The Volkswagen Rabbit (Manual) was introduced in 2006 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
